PENcoin is a literary platform that seeks to
train, expand and engage the literary public through workshops, summits,
conferences and competitions. The key focus of PENcoin is to explore literary
enterprise from a developmental level to an entrepreneurship status. This is
with a view to build capacity, expand opportunities and sustain progress.
Literary Entrepreneurship cannot be deemphasized because of the crucial role it
plays, across different sectors of development. Without an enterprising
literary platform, culture, education, economics, media and communication and
even technology, will be starved to extinction.
Literary enterprise and knowledge
proliferation is like a coin, head or tail. They are always together.
Structuring the enterprise of both is the core mandate of PENcoin. With
PENcoin, we hope to provide and expand job opportunities for authors,
publishers, bookstores, printers and other auxiliaries across the enterprise
value chain of writing. Only then can research and documentation find its right
place in our development process. PENcoin is a brainchild of El-spicebooks
the publishing unit of El-spice Media Limited.
